Meet Dax
Dax is our calico cat and the heart of Purrfect Engravings. With her discerning eye and impeccable taste, she serves as our Chief Quality Controller — reviewing every piece of typography art before it leaves our workshop.
Legend has it that Dax once knocked a subpar engraving off the workbench, sending it crashing to the floor. Since that day, nothing leaves our workshop without meeting Dax's exacting standards.

The Technology
Built for the xTool F2 Ultra UV laser
UV-Laser Optimised
Our SVGs are specifically designed for UV-laser engraving on 2-colour acrylic. The 355nm wavelength of the xTool F2 Ultra allows for incredibly fine detail — and our typography engine takes full advantage with font sizes starting at just 0.05mm.
Luminosity Mapping
Our algorithm analyses the luminosity of your image and maps it to font size. Darker areas use larger text, lighter areas use smaller text — creating depth and detail through typography alone.
Physical Scale
Every SVG is generated at true physical scale: 152.4 × 101.6mm (6" × 4"). What you see is exactly what you'll get when engraved. No scaling, no guesswork.
